The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to perform all operations in connection with project FBNV 89-0014A/B, Repair/Add Taxiway 16/24 and Maintain Airfield Markings, at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. Anticipated issue date on/about 2 Aug 95 with bid opening on/about 1 Sep 95. Pre-bid conference and site visit scheduled on/about 17 Aug 95 at 8:00 a.m. in the 355th Contracting Squadron, Building 2525, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for copies of the bidding package must be made in writing or fax requests to (520) 750-5284. No telephone requests will be accepted. This project is being considered for 100% set-aside for small-disadvantaged business concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days from this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting representative above, evidence of adequate bonding capacity, capability to perform, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, (social identity and percent owned, managed, or controlled by a socially or economically disadvnataged concern). If this information is not included with your request, you will not be considered an SDB concern, nor will your request be considered in determining whether or not to set this acquisition aside for SDB concerns. Bidders must submit, with their bids, a notorized affidavit from government agencies, attesting to satisfactory performance of work of this nature for a previous five-year period and to the qualifications both in terms of expertise and having proper and adequate equipment to accomplish the work. Bidders who fail to submit this affidavit will be considered non-responsive and the bid will be rejected. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all concerns and should state the business size.
