Add To And Alter Multi-Crafts Center-Project YWHG 93-3002. This project is to add an addition to the Auto Skills Center, Bldg 650, for a new Multi Crafts Center. This project consists of demolition of a 2,400 SF pre-engineered addition on the north end of Bldg 650 and construction of a 2,500 SF addition on the south end and a 7,250 SF addition on the north end of Bldg 650. The additions are masonry block construction with metal standing seam roof. Project to include all utilities as required for the new facility. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Magnitude of the contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period will be 360 calendar days. The SIC code for this project is 1542. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 31 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adquate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
