Z -- REPLACE HEATING SYSTEM, BUILDING 101S, NAVAL AIR STATION, JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. SOL Contract N62467-95-B-2517 DUE 083195 POC OICC Office. The work includes installation of new supplemental heating system in Hangar 101S. Eight 13,000 CFM steam fired unit heaters with revolving discharge shall be installed along with structural supports and maintenance platforms. A new insulated high pressure steam main and pressure reducing stations are also part of this project. Al work is located approximately 45 feet above the hanger floor. Bid opening date listed in item 10 is approximate. Request bid documents by 17 August 1995. Estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns shall notify this office in writing, Attn: Code R20.3 of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 days after this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status shall be submitted with references. If you have submitted this information to this office within the last year, you need only to state that you have submitted and request the plans and specification. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from small disadvantaged business concerns.
