Z -- PROVIDE AND INSTALL A COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS REFUELING STATION SOL F39601-95-B0032 Due 082495. Contact Point, SSgt Morris (605) 385-1751, Contracting Officer, Dave Pakalski (605) 385-1748. This project is to provide and install a compressed natural gas(CNG) refueling station for an alternate fuels program accommodating up to 200 vehicles. Work shall include providing the refueling module, all appurtenances to include necessary concrete pads, electrical and CNG service lines, protective shelter for the refueling station, capability to access computer monitoring and operating systems within a transportation complex, and any associated site work and other construction to provide a fully usable and functioning facility. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The standard industrial classification code is 1541. A tentative issue date of 24 Jul 95 is established to make documents available. The project performance time is tentatively for 180 calendar days. All requests shall indicate business status as large, small, small disadvantaged, women owned, etc. This action is being considered for a 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB's should notify our office in writing of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but must reach this office not later than 20 Jul 95. This notification shall include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business business concern, evidence of capacity to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude, complete information concerning management experience in similar work, and financial status including bonding ability. This data must be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
