The contractor shall furnish all plant labr, supplies, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform all operations in connection with Repair Vehicle Parking. The work includes the removal of approximately 101,500 SF of asphalt and 1,436 SF of concrete, the installation of new ductile drain pipe and associated drop inlets and manholes, and asphalt paving of approximately 154,000 SF and concrete paving of approximately 25,000 SF. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The total performance period for this project is 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Requests for solicitation must be in writing and include telephone number, fax number, large, small or small disadvantaged business (SDB). This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for SDB concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 20 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially ad economically disadvantaged business concern and evidence of the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Project requirements will be made available o/a 26 July 1995.
