The work includes the following: remove the existing caulking around the windows at the structural steel joints and replace with new silicone sealant. Prep, prime and paint structural steel skeleton including window mullions, front doors and frame, and stair railings. Submit manufacturer's technical information including paint label analysis and application instructions for each material proposed for use. Provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for all hazardous materials to be used. The Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory is NOT a Government owned building. It is the property of Princeton University. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary permits. The Government Estimate for the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance is to start upon issuance of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60 days. Place of performance is the U. S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Forrestal Campus, Route 1, Princeton, New Jersey. Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
