Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: MAINTAIN, REPAIR AND ALTER AVIONICS SHOP, BLDG 125 Sol Project JLSS 95-0003A/B/C Due 091895 Contact Fred Shomonsky, 412-474-8125, Contracting Officer Daniel C. Work includes, but not limited to, providing all labor, equipment and testing necessary to paint interior and exterior finishes, chemically clean efflorescence brick, removal and replacement of roof system, HVAC system, light fixtures, fire alarm system, power wiring for new systems and equipment, and interior finishes, including suspended ceiling system, doors, drywall, carpeting, vinyl floor tile, signage and associated work. Perform work under a single lump sum firm fixed-price contract. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents and specifications. Solicitation package available o/a 18 Aug 95. The performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Government requires a 60-day bid acceptance period. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition, with further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns. Price ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000. (186)
