Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to repair the fascia, trim and gutter system of Building 1, at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). Work will include but is not limited to the removal and replacement of all existing gutters and downspouts and the furnishing and installation of new aluminum soffits and trims, the repair and replacement of damaged fascia, eaves, outriggers, roof deck and soffits and the removal and replacement of shingle roofing as required to facilitate the installation of new gutters. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after July 19, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompained by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for July 26, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for August 22, 1995, at 1:30pm local time.
