Provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision to Correct Access Deficiencies at the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Work includes but is not limited to the remodeling of +325 s.f. of existing space (women's toilet, men's toilet, and janitor closet) within the main hospital (Building 1) for ADA requirements. The work also includes removal and installation of exterior/site concrete walks, ramps, and curbs, and the installation of interior handrails (from Building #1 to Building #2 and 3) for ADA requirements. Additionally, the work includes the removal of water pipe and fitting insulation. In addition to the asbestos containing materials, the following materials also need to be removed: those portions of the plaster and clay tile walls where the water pipes are located inside the men's and women's restrooms separating them from the H.A.C. room. All work shall be performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Estimated Cost Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. A total of twenty bid packages will be issued on a first come-first serve basis on or about July 14, 1995. All requests for packages must be submitted in writing and include a non-refundable certified check, cashier's check, or money order in the amount of $35.00. Personal or company checks will not be accepted and will be returned. Pre-Bid Conference scheduled on July 21, 1995 at 1:00 p.m. (local time).
