Kiely, Contract Specialist, 202/435- 6940 The United States Secret Service intends to modify contract TSS950011 with Sprint for the purchase of a license for Topper software to monitor a single-hosted Telemail system. The license shall include the ability to: A. Copy for: (1) tape back up/ archives; (2) back up monitoring PC at the NCC; (3) back up monitoring PC at Beltsville Control Center (BCC). B. If Topper monitoring PC is connected to a LAN, unlimited LAN copying is permitted. USSS also requires the following: C. Two copies each of the Topper user guide and the Topper Script Language Reference Manual; D. One year's telephone support during normal business hours; E. Training and Installation - Seven business days training at NCC and BCC sites; F. Maintenance: annual maintenance after the first year to include all upgrades and enhancements to Topper as well as revised documentation and telephone support. Required hardware/software for monitoring PC shall be provided by the Government. Interested firms must submit capability statements and pricing information. Only written responses will be considered, and must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is soley within the the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0191)
