The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) maintains several Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) hardware systems base-wide. NSWCDD seeks to contract for hardware maintenance on the current SGI hardware in inventory and also estimated SGI hardware to be purchased during contract performance. This CBD announcement wishes to determine potential sources who can perform hardware maintenance on SGI equipment at NSWCDD. Interested parties should respond to this announcement with information supporting a claim of interest and ability. For informational purposes, indicate technical experience of maintenance technicians including specific training obtained for SGI hardware maintenance, number and level of security clearances held by maintenance personnel, percentage of current business involving computer hardware maintenance (particularly SGI), past NSWCDD solicitations your firm has bid/proposed on, diagnostic routines used, parts inventory available, and provide references for your firm's most significant hardware maintenance contracts held (preferably for SGI equipment) including the customer/organization name and a point of contact.
