The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Fire Arms Training Systems for the procurement of Contractor Logistical Support (CLS) for the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) and the procurement of MK-19 Weapon Adapter Kits, M-60 Machine Gun Adaptation to EST operational configuration, initial spares for the EST, which will be maintained by the contractor as part of the life cycle contractor support (LCCS) effort, installation and operator training for the devices and options for replenishment of depot spares. Delivery of hardware items shall be accomplished within 3 months of contract award. Term of proposed contract is one year with two option years (MK-19 Weapon Adapte Kit, M-60 MG Adaptation and installation/training are base year only). Sole source justification is based upon only one responsible source capable of providing necessary materials and services within the time frame required without extensive reverse engineering and developmental efforts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties wishing to respond to this notice must submit proof of their ability to perform these services within 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. No telephone requests will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by this agency.
