The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a two-story steel framed building with concrete masonry unit walls with brick veneer, slab on grade and composite steel deck and concrete floor systems, aluminum curtain wall with high performance glazing, sloped steel structural standing seam metal roofing and framing system, metal stud framing and furring, lath and plaster systems, gypsum board, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, ceramic tile, resilient tile flooring, carpet and carpet tiles, vinyl wallcovering, millwork, metal handrail, steel stairs and ladders, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, aluminum doors and frames, accordion folding partitions, toilet partitions and toilet and bath accessories, steel clothing lockers, signage, rear projection screens, marker boards, fire extinguisher cabinets, venetian blinds, hydraulic passenger elevator, wire mesh partitions, associated plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems, fire sprinkler and fire alarms systems, lightning protection, data and communication systems, systems furniture and free-standing furniture. Site work includes concrete curbs, masonry screenwalls, storm drainage and exterior utilities systems, concrete walks, flagpoles and flags, landscaping and irrigation system. The work also includes a prestressed concrete training pier with prestressed concrete piling, poured concrete training tower, steel stairs, ladders and handrails, chain link fencing, rubber marine fender system, aluminum bleachers, and incidental related work. The work also includes an option for the construction of a single story arboretum with structural steel frame, aluminum curtain wall and slope-glazing system with high performance glazing, heating and ventilating, associated electrical systems, fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, lighting protection, brick pavers, interior landscaping and irrigation system, glass guard rail system, special display construction and signage. Sitework includes earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete walk, landscaping and irrigation system.
