The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for performing all work necessary for the construction of a new 15,000 square foot Customer Service Postal Facility on a 3.1 acre site. The work includes but is not limited to site work, utilities, structures, finishes, mechanical, electrical, roofing, plumbing and related work to construct the new postal facility on a site which faces Pioneer Blvd and located just north of Pleasant Valley Rd and south of State Route 73. The estimated price range is between $1,500,000.00 and $2,100,000.00 with completion within 210 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A pre-proposal conference will be held Monday, August 14, 1995 at the office of Stilson and Associates located at 6121 Huntley Rd at 9:00 AM in Columbus Ohio. A two-step solicitation method is being utilized. Contractors will be required to submit two sealed submittals, one containing their technical qualifications and the other containing their cost proposal. Only those contractors who satisfactorily demonstrate the required technical qualifications will have their cost proposal evaluated. The technical qualifications require the following: (1) Minimum of five (5) years as a general contractor; (2) Successful completion of a minimum of five (5) similar projects; (3) Favorable references for the five similar projects; (4) Financial stability. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on Monday, August 21 1995. Plans and specifications will be available on or about July 21, 1995 at a cost of $50.00 per set, Non-Refundable.
