Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than Monday, July 24, 1995 indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform including credit references; prior contracts of similar type, size and complexity; statement from bonding company that bonding capability is available for this project; and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. This information is required for each solicitation even if it has been provided previously. This is necessary in order to maintain documentation for each solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received, solicitation will be unrestricted and an additional notice will be submitted. The work includes the installation of all new below deck piping and plumbing for pool; the removal and replacement of the current tile border around the upper interior surface of the pool; the removal and replacement of the diving board, lifeguard stand, the swim ladders; the installation of slide with associated plumbing; the removal of existing concrete deck area surrounding pool and replacement with slip-resistant topping on 4-inch concrete; the construction of six gazebo shelters with brick columns at each corner, and a v-notch tongue and groove roof deck covered with a raised metal roof, and storage building of similar design; the installation of brick pavers and scored concrete paving in gazebo area; and the construction of new brick fence around the pool area; and incidental related work.
