Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than Monday, July 24, 1995 indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform including credit references; prior contracts of similar type, size and complexity; statement from bonding company that bonding capability is available for this project; and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. This information is required for each solicitation even if it has been provided previously. This is necessary in order to maintain documentation for each solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received, solicitation will be unrestricted and an additional notice will be submitted. The work includes removing existing gutters, downspouts, built-up roofing and insulation down to existing concrete/gypsum deck (Blg 2943 has gypsum deck with built up roof, but no insulation): installing new fully-adhered thermoplastic, single-ply, reinforced flexible roofing membrane, insulation board, new membrane perimeter flashing and expansion joint; reflashing existing vent stacks, roof-mounted fans and equipment; new gutters ad downspouts; designing and installing new metal framing system and standing seam metal roof for canopy at south wing of Bldg 2945; and incidental related work.
