The project consists of the demolition of abandoned airfield pavement, construction of concrete and asphalt paving, fabrication and installation of a plate steel aircraft model/simulator, construction of a steel control tower, installation of a propane storage and controlled distribution system to the model and associated site and incidental related work to provide a complete and usable facility. The acquisition method is to be a firm fixed price contract. An award shall be made to the low, responsive, responsible offeror. Please do not call for technical information based on this synopsis. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. ``Site visit'' departs from the lobby of Building 504 at 10:00 am on 28 July 1995. No appointment is necessary.
