503/326-6418 Replace deteriorated wood rubrails on upstream and
downstream navigation lock guidewalls at John Day Lock and Dam,
Navigation Lock, Klickitat County, Washington. The contractor shall be
required to commence work within 10 calendar days after the date the
Contractor receives Notice to Proceed; complete all work in the
navigation lock during the 14-calendar-day lock outage; and to complete
the entire work not later than 30 calendar days after receipt of Notice
to Proceed. The time stated for completion includes final cleanup of
the premises. Estimated cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. IFB
available on or about July 17, 1995 at a cost of $18.00 per set.
Tentative bid opening date is August 17, 1995. This procurement is open
to both large and small business concerns, the size standard for which
is a concern, including affiliates, having average annual sales or
receipts of the preceeding three years not in excess of $17 million.
