The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1623 - Water, Sewer, Pipe Line, Communication and Power Line Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the replacement of an existing force main, the abandonment of existing sanitary pump stations and their replacement with gravity sewers, and incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 01 August 1995. The projected bid opening date is 31 August 1995. Requests for plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address, Attn: Code 20 or requests may be sent via facsimile using fax #(703) 784-2124. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor.
