The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1542 - General Contractors, non-residential buildings, other than industrial buildings and warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the partial removal of the existing windows and the installation of new windows in building 2200 and incidental related work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 1 August 1995. The projected bid opening date is 31 August 1995. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor.
