Work under this project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to repair by replacement of damaged low pressure 4 inch steam condensate lines and installation of new high pressure steam condensate lines, replace all steam traps, new flash tank assembly with condensate pumps, repair all leaks in steam pits, replace insulation and waterproof the steam pits. Provide a new 8 inch steam line between Bldg 656 and the existing intersection of 6 inch steam lines in an existing steam pit. This project includes two option items for a new 14 inch steam header, connection to existing and new steam lines and controlled density fill in lieu of backfill and compaction with native soils.
