The previous synopsis for medical kits, published in Issue No. PSA-1363; Thursday, June 8, 1995 is hereby modified to reflect the following: The Government intents to procure the following medical kits on a sole source basis from Baxter Scientific Products, One Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, IL 60015; 216 Stratus Free T4 Test kits, Baxter Scientific Part #B5700-48, 24 Cortisol Test kits, Baxter Scientific Part #B5700-50. The estimated period of performance is for one base year, beginning on or about 01 October 1995. Place of Delivery, is San Diego, CA, FOB Destination. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who contend that they are capable of providing the supplies should submit within 45 days from the publication of this notice, specific factual data and other pertinent information as so desired, to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully meet the requirement. All proposals received within the 45 days notice period will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this Notice of Intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
