Z -- NEW AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS AT BUILDINGS 1300, 1301, 1304, AND 1314 AT FORT BUCHANAN, PUERTO RICO SOL DAKF11-95-B-0036 due 082895. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and material and perform all work in connection with the installation of new A/C system at buildings 1300, 1301, 1304, and 1314 at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The work includes, but is not limited to, central air conditioning for the buildings, improvement of the existing electrical system to support the additional electrical load for the new A/C system, install hung ceiling acoustical panels and gypsum, paint affected surfaces same color as existing, make openings for A/C ducts, install registers, install exhaust fan system vent in the bathrooms, remove existing A/C window type, install new windows same as existing on affected areas, excavations to install pipes, concrete pads for the new A/C equipment, 6' high chain link fence around electrical and mechanical equipment with 3' gates with padlock. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. There are currently no funds to support this project and the award of the project is subject to the availability of funds. Contract completion is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. The project is 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business concerns. Bids received from other than small disadvantaged business concerns will not be considered and will be rejected as nonresponsive to the invitation for bids. Written or faxed requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Telephone requests will not be honored. A firm bid opening date has not been established. It is anticipated that bid opening will be on or about 28 August 95. (191)
