Lever ette,213/894-6719 Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to replace the existing two 180 ton R-12 Westinghouse chillers with two 180 ton Non CFC energy efficient chillers, replacement of associated chilled and condenser water pumps, power wiring to the new equipment and all associated control wiring from the new chillers to the Federal Building Energy Management Control System (EMCs), per the Contract Specifications and Drawing requirements. Contractor shall also procure the design services of a California Certified Structural Engineer for the proper seismic zone 4 design of the chillers and pumps installation, inclusive of vibration isolators, and other pertinent structural and mechanical mounting requirements per the Contract Specifications. Estimated cost range: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Even though this procurement is open to large businesses, small and minority businesses are encouraged to participate. Plans and specifications will be available on or after August 1, 1995.
