The work includes removal of existing split system D/X air conditioning system (approx. 60 ton) from the rubber shop in Building 101. The current system consists of a fan and coils located in a mezzanine level mechanical room, two compressors located on a first floor mechanical/electrical room and two evaporative cooled condensers, located on grade. Access to the mezzanine room will require removal and replacement of a section of roof. The system will be replaced with a new fan cooled liquid chiller located at ground level and a new airhandler with chilled water and steam coils located in mezzanine mechanical room. New electrical feeders and controls will be required for temperature controls. The project will also include incidental related work. Bid opening date listed in item 10 is approximate.
