The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service, Midwest Area, has a requirement for Landfarming Fuel Oil Contaminated Soil at the National Animal Disease Center, 2300 Dayton Road, Ames, Iowa. The work will include, but is not limited to, excavation of fuel oil affected soil, transportation of the affected soil to a designated on-site farm/land application area, application of the affected soil, removal and disposal of the abandoned concrete tank anchor pad, protection of existing utilities, backfilling, environmental sampling, documentation and reporting consistent with Iowa Department of Natural Resources guidelines.
