A solicitation notice will be published before invitations are issued. The work includes replacing two (2) existing vertical turbine, short coupled effluent pumps and motors with two (2) self-priming centrifugal pumps and motors. The existing 16-inch discharge piping will be reduced to 12-inch. The existing pump control panel will be replaced and relocated inside the adjacent vacuum building. Additional associated work includes sawcutting and removal of existing asphalt and concrete pavement, excavation, construction of new concrete pavement, drainage improvements and electrical work. Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 7/95, open bids 9/95, complete contract 4/96. Estimated cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. (191)
