Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USACERL) requires
research support, requirements analysis, automation management and
computer programming support. More specifically, activities shall
include, analyzing organizational information needs and conducting
evaluations of hardware and software; developing methods to survey and
analyze existing systems and applications; developing or modifying
software applications related to USACERL projects for microcomputers
and minicomputers using commecially available application development
software packages; developing software for micro-, mini-, and mainframe
computers using commercially available compilers and libraries for
languages such as `C', Pascal, FORTRAN, Ada, Visual BASIC, and
Assembly; developing tools to support local area network operating
systems; developing programs for and interfaces to other devices and
technologies related to automation; developing and conducting training
for application and management of computer technologies. Services to
be provided will be accomplished through a fixed price indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a maximum ceiling of
$500,000 over the life of the contract and a maximum delivery order
limitation of $100,000. The contract will include a basic year and
three option years. Multiple awards may be made under this
solicitation. Request for Proposal (RFP) No. DACA88-95-R-0034 will be
issued on or about 31 Jul 95 with the closing date on or about 30 Aug
