The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting bids to secure services for the treatment of logging slash and the felling and treatment of non-crop trees within proposed tree planting units. The area is located in Umatilla County, Oregon on the North Fork John Day Ranger District. The desired start work date is 9/1/95. There are an estimated 600 acres to be treated, which can be accomplished manually by the use of chain saws, or by the use of slash treating equipment. Bonding is required.
