Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and material, and perform all operations necessary to repair various deficiencies at the Bethel Manor Housing Poolhouse, the LTA Poolhouse, and the Officer's Club Poolhouse (MUHJ 95-1407) at Langley AFB. Work shall include demolition, removal and replacement of doors, vanities, plumbing fixtures, footboards and chairs of lifeguards, lighting fixtures and ventilation system. The work also includes providing new ceramic tile floors and wainscots, and replacing the Officer's Club pool deck. The facilities have been tested for lead-based paint (LBP) and asbestos-containing materials (ACM). All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project for these buildings is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC is 1542. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two respondents that causes the solicitation to be 100% set aside for SDB concens in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interst by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financial assets or line of credit, work history and contacts, affirmative statement requesting set aside action, and a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern as defined in FAR. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability shall be current and dated any earlier than 90 days from the date of the response. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without futher notice. Replies to this notice are therefor requested from all busiess concerns.
