Byrd, (601)385-5792 Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipmenet necessary for the construction of a small parking lot Southwest of Bldg #5 and a parking lot at Bldg. #17, Biloxi VA Medical Center. The work will consist of earthwork excavation, site preparation, asphaltic pavement, pavement marking and covering of two (2) lots with 20-foot x 100-foot aluminum canopies. Parking lot at Bldg #5 is approx. 20'x100' and will consist of standard parking bays. Parking lot at Bldg. #17 will consist of numerous standard parking bays and four (4) parking bays for wheelchair users. Work will involve surveying for proper grades and slopes on and around existing roadways, open grasses, etc. All work to be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Construction Cost Estimate: $100,000 to $250,000. Pre-Bid Conference scheduled on August 15, 1995 at 9:00 AM, office Acquisition and Materiel Mgt. Service conference Room No. 2A114, Bldg. 53, VA Medical Center, Biloxi, Ms. Bidding material are to be requested in writing prior to issue date of June 27, 1995. A limited number of bid packages are available and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. The award of this solicitation is subject to a 90 day bid acceptance time and contingent on the availability of funds.
