Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances ncessary to perform all operations in connection with the construction and repair of asphalt concrete parking lots, roadways, driveways, sidewalks/bike baths, and other miscellaneous pavement areas, to include, but not limited to grading to ensure positive drainage and compacting existing gravel base prior to paving; placing 2 1/2 inches of asphalt concrete binder course (NYSDOT Type 3) over graded and compacted gravel base; placing 1 1/2 inches (minimum) of asphalt concrete top course (NYSDOT Type 7F) over existing pavement or new asphalt concrete binder course; repair failed areas by full depth, filling potholes and low areas in existing asphalt concrete pavement prior to placement of overlay, applying coal-tar emulsion seal coat, raising manholes, catch basin valve box and other covers, and painting/repainting of striping and markings (Reserve Centers Only) at Fort Drum and various U.S. Army Reserve Centers throughout the State of New York. This procurement is estimated to cost between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation is to be issued O/A 1 Aug 95. This procurement will be a requirements type contract for a period of one year.
