The scope of work consists of constructing the remaining 400' of the 150' wide munitions load area and a 75' wide taxiway from the end of the munitions load area to connection to Runway 03L/21R. The length of the area to be paved is approximately 1,800 feet. The base bid includes removal of 150' of existing Portland Cement Concrete pavement for the munitions load area and the south 75' of the existing Portland Cement Concrete pavement on Taxiway F and the replacemet of the new Portland Cement concrete. An additional 12' -6'' of existing Portland Cement Concrete will be removed on the north side of the weapons load area and taxiway F. Project includes an additive bid item for the removal of the remaining 62' -6'' of existing Portland Cement Concrete pavement on Taxiway F. The proposed contract will be a fixed-price estimated quantity contract. Magnitude of this project is estimated between $1.0 and $5.0 million.
