Estimated quantities of the major items of work are: Excavation, common, 43,473 cu. yd.; Earthfill, Embankment, 13,200 cu yd.; Salvaging and Placing Topsoil, 20,800 sq. yd.; Concrete, 9.7 cu. yd.; Pipe, Concrete, Pressure, 18'' I.D., 60 linear ft.; Fences, Barbed Wire, 6,543 linear ft.; Lime-treated Earthfill, 23,620 cu. yd.; Furnishing and Handling Lime, 696 tons; and lump sum items for Mobilization, Construction Surveys, Removal of Water, Contractor Quality Control, Underground Outlet, and vegetative measures.
