Description: This office has a requirement to repair and repaint ten static display aircraft at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex. Services to be acquired include all plant, labor, tools, supervision, and equipment needed to repair and repaint one each of the following static display aircraft: T-38; B-25; B-52; F-4; F-86; F-100; F-101; F-105; BT-13; and C-47. The two-step bidding process will be used for this acquisition. A request for technical proposal will be furnished to all firms who respond to this synopsis. When responding to this synopsis, all interested offerors are requested to submit descriptive literature. Solicitations will only be issued to firms that submit acceptable technical proposals in the first step. Technical proposals shall not include prices or pricing information. Technical proposals must meet minimum salient characteristics. Award will be made to the lowest bidder in step two. Requests may be faxed to (334) 953-3527.
