The Forest Service requires 10 miles of trail reconstruction in a non-wilderness area on the Bitterroot National Forest, Ravalli County, MT. Work is to be performed by mechanical methods. The work is estimated to start on July 8, 1996. Bids are due August 31, 1995. Contract time will be 50 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The proposed contract is a labor surplus area set-aside. This project may be solicited under the new Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules.
