277-3900 x2254. The AFFTC, Edwards Air Force Base has a requirements
for three aircraft electric air conditioner units each, mounted on a
trailer assembly. The minimum salient characteristics for the air
conditioners are as follows: air conditioner, 60.0 Hz, 3 phase nominal,
480.0 V nominal, electric motor. Special features: units shall be
capable of delivering 450 pounds per minute (ppm) of 50 F air against
a maximum static pressure of 1.0 psig into three separate, individually
controlled 12 inch outlet ducts; each outlet shall be capable of
providing 200 ppm of air conditioned air. The air conditioner shall
operate in ambient conditions ranging from 0 to a maximum of 125 F.
Overall dimensions shall not exceed 240'' L x 94'' H x 96'' W; maximum
overall weight when equipped with ducts, connectors and fluids shall
not exceed 20,000 lbs. Weight shall not exceed 6,500 lbs per wheel or
13,000 lbs per axle. The trailer assembly shall be mounted two wheels,
fifth wheel steering, tow bar with 3-inch lunette, and six pneumatic
tires. Refrigerant shall have an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of
zero. Instrumentation panels shall have the following meters or
indicators; ammeters, voltmeters, refrigeration pressure gauge,
compressor suction, discharge and oil pressure, air-flow pressure,
temperature indicators, evaporator temperatures. Contractor shall
furnish all labor, tools, and materials required to install the air
conditioner units. Descriptive literature for the air conditioners is
required. FOB is destination. Delivery is 180 days after award.
