Y -- CONSTRUCT LOCKER/SUPPLY ROOMS BUILDING SOL F41636-95-B0011 POC Jerry Miller tel: 210/671-1732/Larry Carrico Description: Furnish all necessary materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, and services necessary to construct a new 2400 square foot facility, with masonary exterior finish which includes locker rooms and supply storage area with loading dock. The locker and storage areas shall be conditioned by a split dx system with an air cooled condensing unit, and air distribution system consisting of metal ductwork with supply and return grilles. The roof system shall be built-up over metal deck, with a foundation consisting of concrete beam and joist on piers. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Project is subject to a statutory cost limitation of $300K. Performance period is 300 days. The proposed contract listed herin is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business(SDB). Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice is published, indicate interest by responding to the contracting office listed above, and provide evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone numbers, points of contact and contact numbers) and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, evidence of ability to secure bonds relating to this project is required. Note: a 20% Bid Bond will be required. Performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation wil be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business firms as well as SDB concerns.
