The U.S. Army Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the renovation of kitchens and utility rooms of Family Housing units located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Generally, the work to be performed includes, but is notlimited to: the demolition and replacement of kitchen cabinets, flooring and electrical currents. Replace existing kitchen electrical circuit lighting and install new washer/dryer connections. Install new circuit for dishwasher and disposal. Upgrade wall receptacles to GFI receptacles. Install new kitchen cabinets, counter top, sink, ducked exhaust fan and new gas connection for stove. The contractor shall install Government supplied dishwasher and garbage disposal. Install new plumbing for appliances and washer connection. Install new vinyl sheet flooring and repair sub-flooring walls, floors, ceilings, etc., that are damaged due to upgrade of existing circuits. The proposed contract is a 100% set aside for Small Business concerns with a size standard of 17.0 million. The SIC Code is 1522. The magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the Base Year and Two (2) Option Years.
