Sources Sought. This is neither an RFP nor an IFB, nor does the Government make any comittment that any procurement activity will follow. The Sacramento District Corps of Engineers is seeking to identify prospective contractors interested in performing construction services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, for repair of flood control works within the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins. The Government anticipates award of several contracts under PL-99 or other authorities with work to be performed during the August through October time frame. Construction may involve repair or restoration of levees, flood control structures, river training structures, channels, channel banks, bank protection, and other related or adjacent structures. In general, the construction is to repair or restore existing flood control works. The work may also include vegetation installation and establishment. Other construction services necessary to support the work may also be requested. The contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials and equipment to accomplish the requested construction. All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information submitted should include an outline of previous projects, specific work previously performed or currently being performed which is pertinent for the work under consideration. All responding firms are to indicate whether they are a large or smnall business under SIC code 1629. Oral or facsimile responses will not be accepted. All submissions should be received not later that 27 July 1995. (0194)
