Includes spot floor repairs, carpet replacement, patch and paint walls, ceiling tile replacement. Remodeling of kitchens to include replacement of cabinets, countertops, exhaust range and vinyl floor. Doors replaced with solid core doors and windows replaced. Showers and bathrooms repaired to include new fixtures, ceramic tile, lighting, vinyl flooring, and shower partitions. Offerors will be required to meet minimum technical requirements in the Statement of Work and award will be based on Lowest Cost (Price)-Technically Acceptable selection procedures. Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Magnitude: $250,000 - $500,000. The work shall be completed in the summer of 1996. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short, and shipment of materials can only take place in July - August. Special Note: All discussions leading to contract award shall take place at the contracting office in the Embassy of the United States of America in Copenhagen, Denmark. All costs, including travel costs, incurred by interested parties responding to this synopsis and any costs incurred as a result of subsequent discussions prior to award of contract are the sole responsibility of the interested parties.
