The works consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials for the Demoliton of Bldgs at McChord Air Force Base, Washington. The contractor is responsible for accompishing all items of work in accordance with applicable specifications and provisions of the contract to perform the work. Any sundry labor, materials, equipment, and/or other appurtnances not specifically detailed or specified, but required to complete the project, shall be provided as an integral part of scope of work. Contract period will be 60 calendar days. Removal and disposal of asbestos material and lead based paint is also a requirement of work to be performed. This solicitation will be issued on or about 01 Aug 95 with a bid opening on or about 1 Sep 95. This acquisition may be set aside for exclusive Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 10 days of this notice, indicate an interest in this acquisition by providing to the contracting officer evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as SDB concern. All other interested bidders are required to provide to the contracting officer their business standard, i.e. woman-owned, small business, small disadvantaged business, large business or a combination thereof. If no SDB's respond, the solicitation may be set aside for small business (SB) concerns. If no SB's respond, the solicitation may be issued under full and open competition procedures without further notice. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1795 with an average gross revenue of $7 million for the last three fiscal years. All requests for bid sets must be in writing.
