This project is for the repair of existing HVAC and plumbing systems in Building 1624. The principal items of work include but are not limited to demolition, installation of new cooling tower, chiller, and condenser, air handling units with variable frequency drives, new ductwork, Johnson Controls METASYS digital control system, VAV boxes, various pressure and temperature sensors, water and air balancing, reinsulation of the existing ductwork, repair of fireproofing, roof repair after equipment replacement, installation of traffic pavers (roof), fire protection, piping, smoke evacuation system, heat exchanger, hot water pumps, hot water piping, control valves, steam piping, new utility meters, modification of the existing fire detection system and electrical. There is a basic bid with options. This is a repair project with a $3,000,000. statutory limit. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Period of Performance will be 520 calendar days.
