Synopsis: Contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to replace the existing outdated 5KY Overhead Primary Electrical Distribution System located at the 109th Airlift Group, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Schenectady County Airport, Scotia, N.Y. Project will include; but will not be limited to: trenching, backfill, compaction, underground (u/g) electrical ducts, surface and pavement, restoration, medium voltage cable, pull boxes, pad mounted transformers, pad mounted switchgear, grounding, demolition and removal of overhead primary electrical distribution system, etc. Current utility service voltage is 13.2 KV, new system will be 5KY. Standard Industrialization Classification Code is 1731. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The peformance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The work will be bid as a lump-sum, firm fixed price contract. IFB DAHA30-95-B-0012 will be issued on or about 9 August 1995 with a bid opening date on or about 14 September 1995.
