Dickey, Contracting Officer. Correction to procurement synopsis published June 19, 1995. This synopsis is hereby issued under FSC 59, not 36. The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor(s) to provide circuit switchers and disconnecting switches consisting of the following rating and quantities: 115-kV (various types) 24 each, 161-kV 6 each and 230-kV (various types) 8 each. All these items will be delivery FOB to various destination. There may be more than one award resulting from this solicitation. Therefore, bidders must submit bids on each of the proposed contract line item numbers (CLIN) within the various groups of required equipment they choose to bid on. Award for each group of equipment will be on an 'all or none basis'. The bidder whose bid is deemed to be the lowest in response to the terms and conditions of this solicitation will be awarded all of the CLIN's in that group. Solicitation will be issued on or about July 21, 1995. The projected bid opening date is on or about August 22, 1995. This proposed procurement is unrestricted. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. The solicitation will be issued on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes, created in Wordperfect 5.1, and formatted for printing on a postscript printer.
