Jennings (817) 287-5454 (Site Code DAKF48) The Contractor shall provide battlefield simulation service for Fort Hood, Texas and III Corps. to include, but not be limited to, facilities management and general maintenance; security operations; system operations, administration, and maintenance; user training, development of databases and utilities; computer programming, provide technical support of Battle Simulation Center (BSC) training events, exercises, and related activities; and logistical support. The contractor shall conduct functional area research, scenario development, and shall maintain databases created to perform this requirement. The contractor shall perform housekeeping services, provide support for exercises, both locally and at remote sites, be responsible for the transport of exercise equipment to and from remote sites. The Contractor shall operate and provide operator maintenance of all communication systems serving the BSC. The contractor shall be familiar with Corp Battle Analyzer exercises (CORBAN); Joint Exercises Support System (JESS); and Tactical Simulator (TACSIM) Exercises. Tentative Issue Date is 15 August 1995. Tentative Receipt of Proposals, 15 September 1995. A Pre-Proposal Conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 6 September 1995. The period of the contract is anticipated to run from 1 April 1996 through 30 September 1996 with four one year options periods. The type of contract for this effort is a Cost Plus Award Fee; offerors shall have an approved accounting system. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 7376 and the size standard is $18 million.
