In accordance with direction from the Joint Committee on the Library, the Library of Congress seeks inquiries from sources capable of providing the following services: (1) Identify, segregate, and package the Library's collections for possible product marketing; (2) Solicit interest on a world wide basis for possible use of the collections under license agreement; (3) Manage the execution of all agreements which may be developed. Due to funding constraints, the Library anticipates compensation for this effort to be tied solely to the successful execution of licensing agreements. Costs associated with the tasks previously identified will be borne by the contractor. This is not a request for proposals nor a promise to contract. The Library will not pay any costs associated with the preparation and submission of proposals. Responses must be submitted by the due date. No solicitation exists.
