Y -- SOLICITATION NOTICE. CONSTRUCT WAREHOUSE ON BUCKLEY ANG BASE. SOL DAHA05-95-B-0008. Contact Char Woods, Contract Administrator, 303/340-9978 or Mr. David Cole, Contracting Officer, 303/340-9945. This project consists of constructing a single-story building, 68' - 8'' by 100 foot, 6,866 square foot to be used as a material storage facility. The warehouse will consist of new pre-engineered metal building on a cast-in-place concrete slab. Interior work incudes wet fire sprinkler system, and partition wall for storage room. Exterior work consists of approximately 6000 square feet asphalt driveways, 230 foot waterline extension with hydrant, 30 foot fire water service, 450 foot electric service, 390 foot gas service, 400 foot telephone service, and 360 foot fire alarm conduit. Furnish the labor, materials, tools, equipment, quality control, supervision and services necessary for or incidental to the installation and use of materials, systems and accessories for this project. Estimated performance time is 8 months. This project will include a base bid as well as 2 additives all of which must be addressed in order to be considered responsive. Estimated completion date is June 1996. The estimated construction cost range is $250,000 and $500,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitation will be available approximatly 17 July 1995. Solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first served basis as the number of copies is limited. Copies will be available in various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado. The site visit will be held approximately 28 August 1995, in a secure area. The Small Business size standard for this solicitation is one where the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the previous three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $17,000,000 annually. The proposed solicitation herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business concerns (SDB). To assist the Contracting Officer in reaching a set-aside decision the following information will be provided by prospective bidders. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than seven (7) calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, and phone numbers, and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantage business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this solicitation as a set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns.
