Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, material and perform all operations necessary to construct a single story 3,000 square foot auditorium for the Professional Military Education (PME) Center. The facility will consist of a 60 seat auditorium, lobby, mechanical room and toilet facilities. Construction will be slab on grade, steel columns, beams and bar joist, concrete masonry units and standing seam metal roof. Site work and utility connections will be included in the project at Langley AFB VA. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. SIC Code is 1542. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two respondents that cause the solicitation to be 100% set-aside for SDB concerns in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financial assets or line of credit, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action, and a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability are required and must be current and not dated any earlier than 90 days from the date of your response. Also, it is requested that any interested SDB concerns indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. All firms are requested to indicate if their interest is as prime, subcontractor or supplier. Only written requests for the solicitation sent to the above address or via facsimile to (804) 764-4071 will be honored and issued on a first come, first served basis. 50 solicitation packages will be available.
