Y -- EAGLE CREEK TRAIL RECONSTRUCTION SOL SOL R6-6-95-957 DUE 083195 POC Contracting Section, 503/666-0621 This project is to restore the trail to its original condition. This will be accomplished by reconstructing the tread to original grades and alignment (as staked), removing sloughs and berms, reshaping backslopes, removing protruding rocks and roots, filling ruts and troughs, cutting back logs, stumps and encroaching brush, and the refinishing of the entire tread surface. Other work will include construction or reconstruction of ditches, turnpike, puncheon, waterbars, culverts and curb logs. Most of project is within National Forest Wilderness. See Sections H10, H19, and H20 of Special Contract Provisions for restrictions on equipment, for project staking and control requirements and for blasting provisions.
